PharmaNet
Every prescription dispensed in British Columbia is entered in PharmaNet, the province-wide pharmacy network. The College of Physicians and Surgeons recommends physicians use PharmaNet to assist in appropriate patient care.

Medinet Access to PharmaNet
Medical practices, hospitals and laboratories in BC can access the PharmaNet network through Medinet to obtain detailed patient profiles including medication history and other information necessary to safely prescribe medication.
Medinet has been a leading PharmaNet vendor since its pilot project in 1999. Our experience allows us to assist clients with their Ministry of Health applications and confidentiality compliance. We also offer additional support including all documents, supplementary materials, and training required for optimal PharmaNet use.
Medinet is certified to provide access to four Ministry of Health PharmaNet programs:

- Emergency Department Access
- Hospital Access
- In-hospital Pharmacy Access
