Our Team

Everyone at Medinet has a role in the day-to-day operations as well as the growth of the business. We all share in the profits and the satisfaction of a job well done. Medinet team members learn about all aspects of the operation, working closely together to support our clients. We recognize that our business is about people and we value each team member's contribution highly. We encourage all of our people to develop professionally and we appreciate their outstanding commitment to our company.

John

John Culter

John founded Medinet in 1989 with Dr. Ron Ford. At that time, the BC Government mandated that physicians purchase computers and begin submitting their billing electronically. John and Ron recognized this was an opportunity to automate doctors offices. John's goal has always been to help improve patient care by allowing better, more efficient, communication between health care professionals. Formerly a management accountant, John has built a successful BC company dedicated to developing easy, fast and convenient medical software solutions.

Ron

Ron Ford, M.D.

Ron Ford is an anesthetist and former Head of Anaesthesia at Shaughnessey Hospital. Although now retired from medicine, our Chairman continues to operate Specialty Software, www.specialtysoftware.ca, offering medical billing software for specialist physicians in BC. As well, Ron devotes a considerable amount of development time to various Medinet Lab projects including our HL7 Standard conversion program, which helps doctors import lab results to electronic charts.

Kate Culter

Kate has been with Medinet almost since the start. With experience in both the hospitality and aviation industries, Kate brought her customer service skills to the Medinet support desk in 1990. After successfully completing the Marketing Management program at BCIT and continuing her studies in the field of Human Resources, she has expanded her contribution over the years. Kate now provides leadership in the areas of customer service, account management, operations, sales and marketing, and human resources.

Doug

Doug Poulin

Doug is our senior analyst, integrating his technical abilities in mainframe, personal computers, and Windows environments with his practical experience. Over the last 25 years, Doug has established a very successful consulting business. His varied client base includes Medinet, a long-standing relationship with the BC Centre for Disease Control, and many others. Doug has done a marvellous job of developing Medinet 6 and Medinet Pharmanet and we are lucky to have him on the team.

Corey

Corey Henrichsen

Corey came to us after completing his computer science degree at University of Northern BC. Upon returning to Vancouver, he was employed as a hardware, software and network solutions provider for medical offices. He has also worked with well known companies, London Drugs and BC Hydro, in both customer service and technical roles. His technical expertise, sales experience, and cheerful, optimistic nature make his a great asset to our company.

Amandah

Amandah Greene

Amandah brings great enthusiasm and pride to role as part-time Medinet Pharmanet trainer and customer support specialist. Her position at Medinet marks her return to the work force, after many years spent home schooling her three children. With a background in bookkeeping and a great attention to detail, her contribution is appreciated and admired by her co-workers.

Clayton

Clayton Baylis

Clayton joined our team in the Summer of 2006 to help us spread the word about Medinet Pharmanet, Lab and Messsaging. Clayton has a Human Kinetics degree from UBC and brings over five years of sales experience to Medinet—including a very exciting period working with the BC Lions Football Club. We hope Clayton will be with us for a long time, building strong relationships with BC doctors.

Nancy

Nancy McCue

Nancy joined Medinet in mid-October 2006 after raising her son at home for several years. She holds a diploma in social sciences from John Abbott College, Quebec, and became a training coordinator and senior collection officer for several national firms. At Medinet, she is responsible for primary client contact and some quality assurance programs.
