Medinet Secure Key

 

 

1. Download the drivers.

• Medinet Secure Key and ActiveX drivers enable secure access to Medinet on your local PC
• Click on each of the keys on your left and select Open (or Run from this location) to install the drivers
• Reboot your PC
• Plug your Medinet Secure Key into the USB port on your computer.

 

2. Add our address to your trusted hosts list.

• Click on the "Tools" menu option, then select "Internet Options"
• Click on the word "Security" in the tabs across the top
• Click on the green checkmark labeled "Trusted Sites"
• Click on the button marked "Sites"
• Type in "https://jay.medinet.ca" into the top white box
• Click on the "Add" button
• Click on the "OK" button
• Click on the "OK" button again

 

3. If you get Active-X messages when you try to run Pharmanet then you need to make further adjustments to your browser.

• Click on the "Tools" menu option, then select "Internet Options"
• Click on the word "Security" in the tabs across the top
• Click on the green checkmark labeled "Trusted Sites"
• Click on Custom Level
• Set "Download unsigned ActiveX controls" to "enable"
• Set "Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe" to "enable"
• Set "Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins" to "enable"
